The work for an organization that monitors worldwide volcanic activity. The numbers of cases of volcanic activity each week in a recent year are normally distributed with a mean of 18.1 and a standard deviation of 2.9. Write a report that includes the following:

  • a normal curve that represents
  • several conclusions that can be made using the mean and standard deviation
  • the probability that there 25 or more cases of volcanic activity in a randomly selected week.
